Most uptime monitors check from the US or Europe. A site can look fine from there while people in India can't reach it, because of a regional CDN edge, a DNS problem or a mobile network route.
UpHai checks from inside India: Mumbai, Hyderabad and Delhi. A failure is confirmed from a second city before anyone is alerted, so an alert means something is really broken. Alerts go where your team already is: WhatsApp, Slack, Telegram or email.
"Up hai" is Hindi for "it's up". That's the answer we want you to get most days, and when it isn't, we want you to hear it first.
